6Blocc – Rudeboy Dub

Listening to most of 6Blocc‘s recent releases you’d be forgiven for not realising he was based in Los Angeles. His mix of Reggae, Dub, Dubstep, Juke and Jungle is so suited to the UK that it’s a crime he doesn’t play over here more often (if at all). This heavyweight number from his new Full Ah Kulture EP uses the same Michael Palmer sample as Weeda, one of my favourite Moresounds tracks on Om Unit‘s Cosmic Bridge label. It’s also used on Smoke The Weed by Snoop Lion + Collie Budz (as well as a couple of early 90s Jungle tunes) but I’m trying to forget that album ever existed.
