Loving the various fusions of Dub, Jungle, Footwork, Grime, Trap and Dubstep that have been doing the rounds recently. The other day I posted up a new 6 Blocc tune which is prime example, and on that post I shouted out Moresounds from Paris. This is their forthcoming release on Doc Scott‘s 31 Recordings, a strong Jungle / Juke track reminiscent of their previous releases for Astrophonica.
On a similar tip but much more on the Dub side of things, is the new Peng Teng EP from DJ Madd. Originally from Budapest but now based in New York, Madd also spent some time here in Bristol and on this track from the EP he calls upon Bristolian emcee, Redders for a few vocal licks to add to the mix.
Redders features heavily on the new Sam Binga album which I’ve already told you is the best thing since sliced malt loaf. I’ve also posted Sam’s recent videos with both Romaine and Slick Don, but this is yet another one from the release, this time with Dancehall / UK Bass fusion favourite, Warrior Queen.
And finally to round this post up neatly together, here’s a Moresounds remix of a recent Sam Binga track that also features Redders. Howzat!
