This is the first taste from the forthcoming Hallouminati album due out on June 8th via Batov Records, arguably London’s leading label for Balkan Fusion music. Kicking off a little like Jefferson Airplane’s ‘White Rabbit’ this track is a mix up traditional Greek Rembetiko vibes, Dancehall and Balkan styles, with a vaguely Mexican feel to it also.
Not just a great pun, but a top quality band also. They will be back at Boomtown this year, performing Sunday night on the Oldtown Square stage.
