Rhiannon Giddens (of the incredible Carolina Chocolate Drops group) is probably the most exciting American Folk artist around for me at the moment and her new album ‘Freedom Highway’ is a must for any Americana fans. ‘Come Love Come’ is a deep bluesy affair whilst ‘Following the North Star’ is a jaunty instrumental track with Rhiannon on Banjo.
